The Learning Curve

Based on years of teaching experience, we have summarized a typical learning curve. In the initial stages, students usually make noticeable progress, which makes them feel happy and, at times, even overconfident. However, at this point, students have developed a solid foundation for more in-depth professional training. As the training intensifies, students gradually realize the profound essence of art and design and the vast knowledge system behind it. During this phase, students often become more humble but also increasingly less confident. This is a normal phenomenon, as they have entered a plateau. It is especially important at this time to follow the guidance of professional teachers step by step and to engage in systematic theoretical learning. Once they break through this bottleneck, their professional abilities will take a significant leap, and they will gradually grow into qualified commercial illustrators, professional designers, art teachers, etc. Afterward, students will begin to explore their own artistic language and develop their unique style, but all of this must be built on a solid foundation of basic skills in order to eventually reach this stage and become an artist.
